Hi, I'm Ju1y
I am an IT enthusiast and a financial worker, a self-taught cyber geek, and a network security enthusiast with two and a half years of practice.
During my student days as a economics major, I was always curious about the world of programming. Although I had tried my hand at front-end web development, I never followed a proper learning path, nor did I discover my true passion. It wasn't until after starting work that I gradually found my passion in cyberspace.
My Passion
Like many who switched to coding through self-study, I also started with Python, but I learned a mix of things and took some detours along the way. In the early stages of my career, I studied front-end development with JavaScript, React, and even learned Swift and Rust. I also delved into quantitative trading and machine learning. In the end, I found myself captivated by vulnerability hunting and penetration testing.
Passion, perhaps, is an obsession that keeps you deeply engaged. Even after a long, exhausting workday, I can still eagerly throw myself into learning. The moment I turn on my computer at home feels like taking a refreshing sip of ice-cold soda in the summer. Each breakthrough in complex code and system vulnerabilities brings me immense satisfaction.
In less than two years, I've managed to earn certifications like OSCP, OSEP, OSWE, and OSED, ultimately achieving the OSCE³ certificate (Exam review can be found here). I am now considering a full transition into the cybersecurity industry, hoping to push my boundaries further and explore new possibilities.

About This Blog
The purpose of writing this blog is twofold: to document my learning process and insights, and to share some of my learning experiences and summaries. When I was self-studying, one major challenge I faced was the lack of a clear learning path, and the resources I found were often of inconsistent quality. In this blog, I will share my penetration testing journey from scratch, reflections on completing the OSCE³ exam, and tips and techniques related to vulnerability hunting. I hope these shared experiences will help anyone passionate about programming.
Additionally, I will record some life experiences and reflections here, as learning is not just about skill acquisition but also a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. As we explore the technical world, we constantly push through barriers and embrace challenges, which ultimately shapes our outlook on life. I hope this blog can bring some warmth and motivation to those who read it.
